Not many out of this batch I liked much, sadly. I should've moved around a bit more.
These scans might not be that great either..my scanner has decided to act like a dinosaur even though it's only a year old and just ruin everything scanning and printing wise.
I am not the best at drawing cars but this guy sat outside in his car for a hour or so...kinda so..I drew him..
And while waiting for someone else to come around I drew these awesome birds..okay my drawings of them are not that awesome but the birds themselves were. They would just come really close and stay around in the same area until something scared them....the snake thing was not something that was actually there though..
I really like the stylization of the figures in the first sketch.

I like all these sketches. The firs and last especially feel like they have some personality to them. You did pretty well with the car; better than anything I could have done. The only problem I have is that I can't tell what's going on with its back.

ReplyDeleteThese drawings have great energy and character to them but they are also incomplete. Try to work at this level with a lighter line.
Once you achieve the composition, start defining the hands and feet better. As for the heads, I don't mind a cartoonish look but try to create a form that goes beyond a basic oval.
The furniture is incomplete, too. It should be grounded more. Draw out the bases of tables and try to get a more 3/4 point of view that shows more depth on the furniture and the characters.
