But besides that..I didn't draw many people on Monday..mostly squirrels and a dog...and then I couldn't tear my eyes away from a tennis "match" going on..ha ha...Tennis is like trying to draw dancers...very hard. I was kinda far away cause I didn't want to get super close and just stare intensely at the people playing and draw them...

And for some giggles the picture above is the first squirrel I tried to draw. Unlike the others ones it wouldn't hold still so I tried to draw it from what I had managed to see before it ran up a tree. It didn't quite work out and just turned into what looks like a horrible mix of a squirrel and a horse or maybe a dog..
This has a neat variety of people, environments and animals. Cool!
ReplyDeleteJessica,
ReplyDeleteI like the variety. You should try to focus a little more on the form and devote more time to each drawing, if the subject permits it (staying put).
The squirrel has promise... needs a couple more legs, though ;)
As I may have said before, try to ground these drawings more by working them into their setting.
They are a little isolated.
I like the trees and animals in the 2nd page down... look to this as a way of putting line variety in your drawings.
