So the weather turn on Wednesday was not fun at all. Having to stay inside with a bell and horribly loud intercom going off every 15 minutes was not my ideal way to spend the last hour of class...I did draw some people's faces though to practice expression and what not. I'm still working on hands though..
This was before the storm started. This was one of the little outdoor food things.
This was also before the weather got bad. You can see I attempted to draw hands on the top drawing and the expression as well. The bottom two were me attempting to draw people in motion. Still not turning out how I would like them to.
And finally was when I was stuck inside. I need to work on perspective a little...
Oooh, I really like the facial expressions that we start to see here.
ReplyDeleteJessica,
ReplyDeleteThe last page is your best, gesture-wise - nice fluid lines, for the most part. The unfinished gestures are also nice. Don't give up on them ! Give them arms and feet, simple indications of a face, clothing... just a few lines will do. As for shading, devote the same energy to it as you do with your gesture. Avoid 'squiggly floors.' It looks like an afterthought and lazy.
