Sadly the only place I could get myself to on Monday was CCAD. I needed to kill two birds with one stone and manage to get homework done and my sketches done without having to use a lot of gas..so CCAD it was.
I got there and realized that I awesomely left my glasses at home...so my drawings are not as detailed as I would hope for. I can still see decently without my glasses but if someone is far away it's still quite a task to see anything but blurry blobs...

That's it. I plan on scanning in my homework later tonight : )
Jessica,
ReplyDeleteThese all have great beginnings with fluid strokes. They need more attention. You can address some of the proportion issues by drawing being ans through what we don't see (figure at the desk. Devote more time to hands, as well.Try to establish a basic form - hands, then fingers and the thumb - think of them as volumes more than a contour. Work lightly with them to establish form, then use a slightly darker line to describe detail.Remember - the darker lines will stand out more - if you don't want them around the extremities (lighter), don't put them there.
