I am aware that in the very first drawing the woman looks horribly stiff. Just before I had finished drawing the pose she moved her hand away from her face so I had to make it up. : (

Novermber 17 - North Market
So to remind myself to post these up I wrote all over my hands in bright red pen. It worked : )

I like how you handled face (especially in the last one) as well as overall value, but I think these could look more alive overall if you were to loosen up the posing and make the arms move out more. A couple of them look like they're kinda tied up somehow.

ReplyDeleteThese drawings are overall stronger than a lot of your previous ones. I would agree with Kirsten - get the subjects' limbs away from the body. The last drawing is the strongest...the second to last has some good points to it, as well - I'd like to see some more of the pose (weight shift, etc)
