October 27 - Sick Day - Victorian Village/High St.

So on the 27th I was feeling like I had been hit by a couple semi trucks so after sending out an email to Patrick I decided to lay down for a bit. I had a back up plan for drawing though. My mom was going to go out to the Great Clips in Victorian village so I figured I'd just deal with being a bit sick for hopefully no more than a half hour and go with her and draw there.

Well my mom's version of a hair cut is apparently only a trim that takes less than 10 minutes. Since I assumed we were going to be there longer I started on a drawing that would take a bit longer. I got most of it done in the 10 minute range but it's a little obvious that part of it is missing but it's not horribly bad.

After we left she decided she needed to stop at UDF. She had be stay in the car for obvious reasons but she parked right in front of the door which was great for me. There were a couple cops in line ahead of her so I decided to do a quick drawing of them.

On the way to UDF I also managed to draw a picture of someone walking that didn't turn out so bad. The feet got cut off though because I didn't realize I was drawing at the bottom of my page. I'd also like to point out that at first I thought the woman in the Great Clips drawing was standing on her tiptoes at first but quickly found out she was actually wearing stilettos....cutting hair...wearing stilettos.... Hm..

Also...I miss drawing in pencil...

October 25 - Student Choice

I ended up drawing at work this time...mostly because I was there and I wasn't feeling very well so I didn't end up going anywhere.

Being sick is also why my drawings are late. I go to my classes but after they're done I come home and try to rest a little so that I don't end up making myself worse so I ended up forgetting about scanning them when I got home....ha ha..

I'm still trying to work on perspective so out of the 3 I liked one of them isn't a person..

October 20 - North Market/Arena District

October 28 - Student Choice - Kinney Hall

Honestly, student choice days kill me...simply because I do not go anywhere. This is because with the newly found free time I end up going to work on animation or photography stuff because on the weekends I work and don't have time to get in and work on it. That is great for those classes..but that just means I don't end up going anywhere for these student choice days because I don't leave the labs until like 10pm....

So..I end up drawing at school...which I feel bad about because I don't know how long it'll be before everyone is tired of seeing drawings from the school...ha..but yea...it was raining that day though so I couldn't draw outside so I just drew people in Kinney Hall...

Still having problems drawing a figure walking...even more problems drawing them from the back. I also tried to work on perspective by drawing the display case...that..didn't turn out so great either...
I am also not that great at doing the quick sketches necessary when people are mad at the scanner on the first floor and keep moving back and forth from the computer to the scanner..I'm sure another drawing session at Ballet Met is needed for me ha ha..

And...mannequins are scary..even if the dress on them looks nice..I think I should've gotten a little creative and done something to the drawing of it..

Assignment 3 - Music drawing

I honestly can't tell the difference between my drawings with each genre of music. I do know that with the first song though I kept messing up constantly as I listened to it..ha ha..I tried to pick a nice variety from my song list so yea..Also..youtube is not so kind with it's blurry videos : (

Again with this one I found myself messing up a lot..there are a lot of dramatic camera angles at times too so it made it a little hard to draw...which is why the drawing on the bottom's head isn't really complete...

Now I wasn't entirely sure if the song was a different genre than the first or not but I thought it'd be nice since it has a different approach. It was another kinda fast song though so I messed up a little bit but not as much as the first.

I honestly have no idea what the guy on the bottom is doing but I have a lot of respect for him leaning over like that, I think, the entire time. I think he is "drumming" on the box or block that he is sitting on...hm...

October 13 - Normal Class ( AMF )

I have to say yesterday's class was really amusing. It was honestly what I needed after a long day running on only 3 hours of sleep.

October 11 - Easton

I managed to get the 3 minimum drawings at Easton..it was just another exciting location so I was just looking around at everyone and not really drawing anyone...ha ha..I think my perspective problem might be getting a little better...maybe..

October 6 - Student choice/CCAD

I really hate having to draw at the same place so many times but animation homework called and so I had to finish it..and since I was on campus I just decided to kill two birds with one stone.

It was pretty warm out so I could sit outside at least and there were more people out so that was a plus as well.
